This campaign was developed in order to move hearts and minds for the passage of important legislation affecting children and their school readiness. The results: the legislature passed important bills that increased newborn screenings, immunizations for low-income families and greater access to pre-Kindergarten programming in rural and underserved areas.
This campaign won a Best of Show award at the Kansas City Philly Awards.

Prior to the Kansas legislative session beginning, interest was generated in school readiness by strategically distributing an eye-catching and informative calendar to libraries, early education facilities, and the offices of doctors, dentists, school nurses, educators, chambers of commerce and policymakers
During the session billboards were placed in high traffic areas in and around Topeka where they would be viewed by all legislators.
Targeted online animated ads helped spread the message and drive traffic to the microsite.
