Washburn University student Trinity Cooper has been selected for the Spring 2022 MB Piland internship that prepares young talent for a career in marketing and advertising.
MB Piland designed the internship to provide an interactive, real-life experience for students so they get exposure to many aspects of the business from behind the scenes to in front of clients.
“I am overjoyed to have been granted this opportunity! MB Piland is helping me to develop my marketing skills and I think this opportunity is setting a firm foundation for my future career. I enjoy the hands-on experience that allows me to understand the day-to-day challenges of working in a marketing agency,” she says.
Trinity will support agency staff with client projects, social media, research, and promotions. In addition, she will also be developing and coordinating the agency’s annual College Student Shadow Day to be held on March 15.
“We’re very glad to have Trinity here for the spring semester,” says Martha Bartlett Piland, agency president & CEO. “She’s one of Washburn’s standout students and comes highly recommended. She has already hit the ground running, and we know she’ll be a strong contributor to our work here at MB Piland.”
Cooper, a junior at Washburn University, is a native of Leon, Ks and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing accompanied by a minor in leadership studies. She plans to use the skills she learns at MB Piland to benefit her future endeavors and establish strong experience for her future career.
